Key Box and Glasses

Redlam Panic Bolts

Manufactured from cast aluminium, Redlam panic bolts are the economical solution to the problem of providing reliable security for internal emergency exits.

Mark I

Designed for emergency exit single doors. Breaking the CeramtubeTM results in the bolt sliding back automatically and unlocking the door.

Mark II

Designed for interconnecting emergency exit doors. Operates on one side of the door by breaking the CeramtubeTM and on the other side of the door by pushing the knob.Both versions are supplied complete with hammer and chain. Padlocks and "To open break tube" signs are available separately. Use of an optional padlock prevents unauthorised removal of CeramtubeTM without breaking the tube itself.

Ceramtube (Tm)

Replacement cartridges for both Mk I and Mk II Redlam panic bolts. Designed to produce no sharp edges when smashed. Packed in boxes of twenty.

Fire Blankets

A range of top-quality fire blankets in white and red packs, with slim, flexible or square pack options, 1.0m x 1.0m, 1.2m x 1.2m or 1.8m x 1.8m. Suitable for smothering and extinguishing fires in homes, kitchens, schools, hospitals, laboratories, offices and factories. Fire blankets offer a number of advantages over other blankets commonly available:

Ten-year guarantee on the cloth.
300-gram cloth rather than the commonly used 200-gram cloth, which can be susceptible to cracking
Environmentally friendly, water-based coating.
The suppleness and strength of the blanket ensures user confidence as it is well insulated, yet easily drapes over the fire.
Full traceability through individual blanket batch numbering.
Flush end caps for easy cleaning.
All blankets comply with the latest European Standard BS EN 1869:1997, which supersedes the British Standard BS 6575:1985.
